Math Latex Blogger

You can enable LaTeX math rendering on your Blogger site by adding the MathJax CDN Script directly into your theme's HTML. [1]

Setting Up MathJax in Blogger

  • Open HTML Editor: Go to your Blogger Dashboard, click Theme, click the dropdown next to Customize, and select Edit HTML.
  • Insert Script: Paste the following MathJax configuration code right before the closing </head> tag: [1]
<script src="https://cloudflare.com" async="async">
  MathJax.Hub.Config({
    tex2jax: {
      inlineMath: [['$','$'], ['\\(','\\)']],
      displayMath: [['$$','$$'], ['\\[','\\]']],
      processEscapes: true
    }
  });
</script>
  • Save Changes: Click the save icon in the top right corner of the HTML editor.

Writing Math Equations in Posts

  • Inline Math: Wrap your LaTeX code in single dollar signs $...$ or \(...\) (e.g., $x^2 + y^2 = z^2$).
  • Display Math: Wrap your code in double dollar signs $$...$$ or \[...\] for centered block equations.
  • Editor Mode: Always write or paste your LaTeX formulas while in the HTML View of the Blogger post editor to prevent rich-text formatting errors. [1, 2, 3]
Would you like to know how to customize the MathJax fonts or delimiters for your specific blog style?
