Math Jax Blogger
You can add MathJax to Blogger by pasting the MathJax configuration script directly into your theme's HTML before the closing </head> tag. [1, 2]
## Steps to Add MathJax
1. Open Blogger Dashboard: Log in to your Blogger account and select your blog.
2. Edit HTML: Click on Theme in the left menu, click the drop-down arrow next to Customize, and select Edit HTML.
3. Insert the Script: Find the <head> tag in your template and paste the following MathJax v3 script right below it: [2, 3]
<script async='async' id='MathJax-script' src='https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/mathjax@3/es5/tex-mml-chtml.js' type='text/javascript'>
</script>
<script>
MathJax = {
tex: {
inlineMath: [['\\(', '\\)']],
displayMath: [['$$', '$$'], ['\\[', '\\]']],
processEscapes: true
}
};
</script>
1. Save Changes: Click the save icon (floppy disk) in the top-right corner of the editor.
## How to Write Equations in Your Posts
* Inline Math: Wrap your LaTeX code in \( ... \) (e.g., \( x^2 + y^2 = z^2 \)). Avoid single dollar signs ($) if they conflict with currency symbols in your text unless explicitly configured.
* Display/Block Math: Wrap your equations in $$ ... $$ or \[ ... \]. [2, 4]
Would you like help configuring custom delimiters or adding chemMacros (mhchem) for chemical equations?
