El = the, --itu , -- tersebut (penunjuk objek/subjek tertentu)

Chico = lelaki , chica = perempuan

inglés = Inggris (kata benda tidak  pada bahasa Spanyol)

Estaba = was (bentuk lampau is)

Solo = only

De paso = sementara (paso = passing by)

En = di, pada, dalam

La = the (untuk kata benda feminin), el = the (untuk kata benda maskulin)

Empresa = perusahaan (kata benda feminin)

Inglés = English (noun in Spanish isn't capitalized)

Estaba = was

Solo = only

De paso = temporary (passing by)

En = in

La = the (for feminine noun), el = the (for masculine noun)

Empresa = company (feminine noun, usually ends with -a)
